Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Court ordered to pay compensation to worker injured at work. 250,000 dirhams to be paid as compensation. An employee was injured when a pipe fell during work. Then his right leg was amputated.

The position of the employer was that the injury was a result of negligence on the part of the worker and was therefore not entitled to compensation. However, the investigation revealed that there was negligence on the part of the company and that the workers at the site were not provided with necessary safety and security measures.
Then the court gave a verdict in favor of the worker.
