Work should be ensured with e-office on official files in a month: Prime Minister

The Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif of the federal government Offices Instructions have been issued to the Ministry of Information Technology and related institutions on Sunday to make it paperless.

According to the statement issued by the media wing of the Prime Minister’s Office, Shahbaz Sharif said that the implementation of e-office is one of the top priorities of the government to bring transparency and speed up the system.

He stressed that officers in all government offices should ensure sending files through e-office.

The Prime Minister said that any delay in the implementation of e-office in federal government offices is not acceptable.

The Prime Minister instructed to ensure that all office files are processed through e-office within a month and said that he will not see any file except e-office from next month.

According to the statement, on the instructions of the Prime Minister, the e-office training of the staff of the Prime Minister’s Office was completed last week.

According to the official news agency, the Prime Minister received the files on e-office last week.

He also directed to submit a progress report on the implementation of e-office in the next two weeks.

Proposals regarding dissolution of PWD will be presented in the Cabinet

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the financial package given to the employees who resigned due to the dissolution of Pak PWD will not be applied to those employees who have been found guilty of serious corruption.

According to the statement released by the media wing of the Prime Minister’s Office, a briefing was given regarding the final stages and legal aspects of the dissolution of Pak PWD in the review meeting regarding the dissolution of the Public Works Department under the chairmanship of Shahbaz Sharif.

He directed that the final plan for the transfer of the ongoing projects under Pak PWD to the provinces and related institutions should be presented as soon as possible.
