Ranbir Kapoor, in a conversation with Indian entrepreneur Nikhil Kamath, recalled how an emotional conversation with Aamir Khan convinced him not to “run away from ambition”.

In an interview, actor Randhir Kapoor revealed that superstar Aamir Khan had mentioned his regrets in life in an emotional meeting, which changed his perspective on his career and chasing stardom. He said that after talking to Aamir Khan, he decided to maintain a balance between his professional and personal life.

Talking about showbiz life and the hard work that goes into it, Ranbir Kapoor said, “I know Aamir Khan.” I met him two years ago… I asked him what happened, and he said, ‘I’ve spent 30 years of my life in this industry and the only relationship I have is with my viewers.

I have no relationship with my children, I have no relationship with my mother, nor with his ex-wife (Kiran Rao), who was his wife at the time.

Revealing how Aamir Khan’s words affected him, he said, ‘This is what this profession does to all of us. We give our all to him but we get away from our family. So try to balance your work and real life and don’t overpower your ambitions.

Remember that Aamir Khan spoke about these same regrets in an episode of Koffee with Karan and said, “A year ago, I thought and reflected and realized that I treated my relationships like my work. Not important. I could not spend much time with my children Ira and Junaid during their childhood. He added, “Now, I have changed a lot in my life in the last few months now you will find a completely different Aamir Khan. I am more attached to my family, my children, Karan’s parents, Reena’s parents, my mother, sister and brother. Now if I am asked, I would like to spend more time with them than work.
