Work continues on the spillway on the bridge over the Lambaré stream

Asunción, IP Agency.- The Ministry of Public Works (MOPC), Essap and the Municipality of Lambaré continued this week with the intervention on the bridge over the Lambaré stream for the construction of a relief and enable the passage of higher flow during the rains.

The work corresponds to a spillway with two cellular sewer lines of 2.5×2.5 meters and 2×2 meters, respectively, at the southern head of the bridge in the vicinity of the local municipality.

During Thursday and Friday, Essap intervened at the construction site to modify the layout of a 50 cm main pipe that interfered with the implementation of the sewers.

The works seek to prevent the overflow of water over the bridge, which will also have side railings to protect users from possible accidents.

Currently, while the work is being carried out, it is closed to vehicular traffic, from the intersection with Cacique Lambaré Avenue to Felicidad Street.
