The Military Community Health Brigades (Bricomiles) were activated for the recovery of health centers, such as the El Ujano Popular Clinic, located in the Santa Rosa parish, Iribarren municipality, Lara state.
Regarding the work, the sole Health authority, Javier Cabrera, said: “Today we begin the recovery of the popular clinics with the support of the Bricomiles.”
The teams are receiving the supplies, the necessary materials for recovery, painting and facade, and “another series of approaches necessary to improve the quality of care for our population,” said Cabrera.
In the El Ujano Popular Clinic, up to 150 patients a day are treated in the specialties of: general medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, traditional Chinese medicine and gynecology.
