The world’s largest cruise ship has set sail for the first time. The “Wonder of the Seas” is a real ship of superlatives, with a length of 362 meters and a height of 70 meters it is around five times larger than the Titanic. The ship is like a floating wonderland. There are countless attractions on 18 floors: A huge aqua theatre , climbing parks, three water slides, an ice rink or a surfing simulator. Even a kind of park with over 20,000 plants and trees can be found in the middle of the ship. And so it took almost three years to build the luxury liner. Costs : Around 1.2 billion euros, making the “Wonder of the Seas” not only the largest, but also the most expensive cruise ship in the world. Until April of this year, the ship will still be doing its rounds in the Caribbean. From May it will then be on the move in the Mediterranean.
