Marlen Reusser will not take the start of the 7th and penultimate stage of the women’s Tour de France, announced his team Team SD Worx. The Bernese, victorious in the 5th stage on Wednesday, suffers from a concussion following falling 22 km from the finish during the 6th stage.
Olympic vice-champion in the time trial, Marlen Reusser (30) finished more than 15 minutes behind the winner of the 6th stage Marianne Vos. She then underwent examinations which revealed a concussion, which requires several days of rest.
