On the occasion of the general elections in the Democratic Republic of Congo, France 24 focused on the situation of women, who represent half of the country’s 95 million inhabitants. While significant progress has been noted in terms of access to health (free childbirth) and representation in public life, there remain numerous obstacles and challenges for them to be able to fully enjoy their rights.
