In a massive event that brought together more than 400 women, the “Women’s Flag Raising for Pedreros” was launched in the commune of Coelemu in support of the re-election of the current mayor, Alejandro Pedreros Urrutia.

The activity, organized by the Women’s Command for Pedreros, was attended by political leaders and representatives. Among them were the IND-DC deputy, Felipe Camaño; the head of the Social and Human Development division, Tamara Valenzuela, representing Governor Óscar Crisóstomo; and the regional councilor, Juan Riquelme, among other officials.

In her speech, Pedreros expressed her gratitude and commitment to the community. “I am deeply grateful for the support you have given me. This flag-waving is a sign of the power and unity of our women, together we will continue working for the development and well-being of Coelemu. I have spent my entire life in this commune where I was born and raised, and I promise to continue with the humility and respect that have characterized me. Without lies or insults, I will continue giving the best for our Coelemu,” said Pedreros.
