Women’s Curling Team Kim World Championships 6 consecutive wins, 2 losses… tied for third place with Canada

The women’s national curling team ‘Tim Kim’, who is trying to win the first medal at the World Championships, lost one after another to Denmark and Sweden, and fell to tied for third.

Team Kim lost 3-7 to ‘Tim Hasselborg’ of Sweden in the 8th round of the qualifying round of the 2022 Women’s World Curling Championships held in Prince George, Canada on the 24th (Korean time).

Tim Kim took the lead in the second end against Sweden, which had won the bronze medal at the Beijing Winter Olympics, but immediately allowed a comeback by conceding two goals in the third end.

Tim Kim, who was sprinting for 1st place with 6 consecutive wins, lost 2 consecutive losses and was tied for 3rd with Canada’s ‘Team Inasson’.

In order for Tim Kim to qualify for the medal at the World Championships, he must finish in 6th out of 13 teams.

1st and 2nd place in the preliminary round go straight to the semifinals, and 3rd and 6th place play-offs to determine which two teams will join the semifinals.
