Sylhet: After Rohit Sharma’s Indian men’s cricket team returned from losing in the Asia Cup, now it’s the women’s turn. Harman’s children will bring the Women’s Asia Cup title to India without any surprise considering their dazzling form in the recent whitewash of England in the ODI series. Therefore, the Indian team is starting its victory journey today in the Women’s Asia Cup with a lot of confidence. The first opponents are Sri Lanka. The matches are in T20 format.
The India-Sri Lanka match will start at 1 PM IST at the Sylhet Outer Stadium. Harmanpreet Kaur is leading the Indian team in the tournament. Smriti Manthana is the vice-captain. The Indian squad for the Asia Cup was announced earlier.
It is noteworthy that Jamima Rodriguez, who missed the series once morest England, returned to the Indian team. Richa Ghosh will be the wicket keeper.
