Good news for the beneficiaries of the Women with Wellbeing program. The government of the State of Mexico (Edomex) has already begun delivering the first deposits of 2,500 pesos every two months to women between 18 and 64 years old who were selected to receive this support.

Let us remember that since the arrival of the Morenista Delfina Gómez to the state governorship, it was announced that a new program would be implemented to replace the Pink Salary, an initiative of the former PRI governor Alfredo del Mazo, which aimed to help women in situations of poverty and vulnerability.

According to the Secretary of Welfare of the State of Mexico, the women who were chosen following completing their application and registration process will receive a card where they can withdraw the bimonthly payments through any branch of the Banco del Bienestar, or at other ATMs. who charge commission.

When do they deliver the first payment for Mujeres con Bienestar?

After the delivery of the first cards to the selected Mexican women last Friday, December 8, the Secretary of Social Welfare of Edomex, Juan Carlos González Romero, announced the dates for the first payment cycle of the Mujeres con Bienestar program.

According to González Romero, the beneficiaries will begin to receive their cards from December 8 to 15, while the delivery of the first deposit will take place next Friday, December 22, that is, two days before Christmas.

The authorities have called on Mexican women who have this support to pay attention to the aforementioned dates, as well as to the official channels of the program in case they have doubts or complaints regarding the payment process.

This is how payments will be divided according to your last name

According to its website, Mujeres con Bienestar’s payment schedule will be organized into five groups to facilitate the delivery of deposits. The dates are determined by the first letter of the Unique Population Registry Code (CURP), remaining as follows:

Group 1: Letters A to DGroup 2: Letters E to HGroup 3: Letters I to MGroup 4: Letters N to RGroup 5: Letters S to Z

How to activate the Women with Wellbeing card?

Beneficiaries must receive their card in a closed envelope, which will have a security PIN, although it is recommended to change this number as soon as possible for a four-digit password to prevent fraud or theft.

To activate the card, you must first access the Mujeres con Bienestar platform and select the section that says ‘Activate or deactivate card’.

Another way to do it is by dialing the number on the back of the plastic, which also serves to report the card in case of theft or loss, or to check the balance or recent movements.
