In the Auditorium of the Preparatory School No. 7, located in Los Reyes Acaquilpan, the municipal capital of La Paz, the Governor of the State of Mexico reiterated her commitment to the equality and well-being of the women who live in the 125 Mexican municipalities, which represents a step towards social justice.
Teacher Delfina Gómez stressed that the card of this program reaches the homes of the State of Mexico, thanks to the efforts of everyone, from the contribution of the Mexicans who contribute with their taxes, to the proper management of resources based on the model of austerity established in his administration.
“Another sector or factor that helps us a lot with this, because effectively they are also the public policies that we make as a state government, as a municipal government, as a federal government, which is austerity,” said Governor Delfina Gómez.
In front of a thousand beneficiary women, Teacher Delfina Gómez explained that it is a comprehensive program, since through the card they receive today they will also be able to access benefits, educational and health care, emotional, funeral, legal, telephone and telemedicine assistance. , life insurance, as well as access to veterinary services for pets.
Noting that the social programs will reach each of the homes in the State of Mexico, Governor Delfina Gómez reiterated that the support is delivered directly, transparently and without intermediaries.
“We are very interested in improving the quality of life, but not only economically, not only in infrastructure, but also socially,” emphasized the State President.
In his speech, Juan Carlos González Romero, State Secretary of Welfare, reported that, in the municipality of La Paz, “Women with Wellbeing” reaches 5 thousand Mexicans, and highlighted that this program benefits those who live in conditions of extreme poverty. He mentioned that, due to this year’s electoral ban, the payment of three two-month periods will be advanced, so they will receive 7,500 pesos, the equivalent of three two-month periods.
Likewise, she indicated that this program was created by a woman to support Mexican women, and its purpose is to provide them with different supports such as being able to finish their primary, secondary, high school and university studies.
In this sense, Sandra Mendoza González, beneficiary of this municipality, recognized that the “Women with Wellbeing” card will allow Mexican women to achieve their goals and desires, in addition to raising their quality of life, “I am sure that this is the Government of women not only because a woman heads it, but because that woman from the first days of her government has shown that she cares and worries regarding us. At the time, Cristina González Cruz, Municipal President of La Paz, thanked the Governor for supporting the women of this municipality, with the benefit of this card, and particularly, for the help sent from the first minute the tragedy occurred in the Tepozanes Housing Unit, with the implementation of urgent measures through the State Coordination of Civil Protection, as well as the installation of a temporary shelter for the 18 families affected by the explosion of a gas tank in this housing complex.
