Juarez City.- A woman suffered the amputation of a leg when she was run over and pressed against a post; reported a Road Safety agent.
According to the agent’s report, the mishap occurred in the Libramiento Independencia and Manuel Talamás Camandari Boulevard.
He explained that the passenger driver on the digital platform, of a gray Hyundai Grand i10, was speeding and lost control of the unit because he was distracted on the cell phone.
He added that the car ran out of control, went to the median and there was a woman standing there who was trying to cross the street and was run over by the vehicle, losing a leg.
The victim, an approximately 28-year-old woman, was taken by ambulance to the hospital; The driver was detained to answer for the damages and injuries that she caused.
