**Mary daly**: Well, it was a typical day. I was driving my children home, and we were approaching a roundabout. Another car, which I believe was a rental, pulled out and collided with my vehicle.

**Mary daly**: Yes, promptly after the accident, my main concern was the injuries my mother, who was a passenger, had sustained. I went to the GP with her, and I did mention my shoulder pain, but it wasn close to as concerning as her injuries. At that time, the doctor recommended over-the-counter pain relief for me.



**Archyde News**: when did you realize the severity of your own shoulder injury?



**Mary Daly**: In hindsight,I can see that the pain in my shoulder worsened in the days immediately after the accident. about a year later, I had a scan done and it confirmed I had a partial tear in my right shoulder.

**Mary Daly**: the court found that I hadn’t adequately proven a direct link between the roundabout accident and the tear in my shoulder.
