Hyderabad: The woman and her accomplices have been arrested for killing her transgender husband using hired killers. The incident took place in Siddipet district of Telangana. Vedashree (30), an accountant in a private school, and two men who were her assistants were caught by the police. Venkatesh (Roja- 35), a transgender, was killed. The accused were arrested following an investigation related to the murder that took place on December 11.

On the complaint of Venkatesh’s relatives, the police registered a case of unnatural death and conducted an investigation. Vedashree hired the hired killers by offering 18 lakh rupees to kill Venkatesh. Police said that Rs 4.6 lakh was handed over.
