Woman had been dead in her room for 10 years; her family didn’t notice

JAPAN.- While cleaning an abandoned house, cleaning staff found the lifeless body of a woman who had been missing for 10 years.

The events occurred in Kyoto, Japan, after a 20-year-old young man hired a cleaning company to Organize the abandoned housewhere his family used to live, as they were going to put it up for sale.

A married couple with two children lived on the property, and the family had a tense relationship. 10 years ago the mother of the family had disappearedhe never appeared and no further search efforts were made. Years later the man also died.

After cleaning two rooms, the staff moved on to the room that belonged to the missing motherwhich had been closed since the incident and was littered with food scraps, newspapers and clothing, making it impossible to enter; however, when workers began to clean up the mess, they noticed something unusual.

They reportedly found what appeared to be human bones hidden under a blanket, when they lifted it they realized that They were the mummified remains of the woman.

After this, the people spoke to the owner, who then called the police.

Why did no one notice the woman’s death?
