Two little girls find themselves orphans after being struck by two tragedies in the space of a few years.

After losing their father in 2015 to drowning, their mother lost her life after being mowed down by a snowplow in Chicoutimi a few days ago.
“When the doctor warned me of the death of my spouse, I said to myself, it doesn’t make sense to lose your mother and father, what is it that they have a curse on these poor chicks there”, explains Maxim Duperré, spouse of Marie-Jo Morais.
Arrived in their life a few months ago, the new spouse was quickly accepted by the whole family.
“We were still a couple for six months. My spouse had asked me to move in with her and her children. I was very happy to join them. It felt good to have them in my life, it felt good to hear them speak. I have a great chemistry with the two little ones, ”says the new spouse.
He wants to take his time in the coming weeks, but does not rule out the option of staying in the lives of the two girls.
