Woman dies after undergoing three cosmetic surgeries in Chihuahua

CHIHUAHUA.- Gabriela, 30 years old, died as a result of the practice of three cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries.

Gabriela “N”, 30 years old, underwent cosmetic surgery in the St. John’s Clinic Last Friday, however, died of hypovolemic shock while she was being rushed to the Hospital Palmore.

The surgeries he underwent were a abdominaplastiacon lipotransferencia and breast augmentation.

Due to complications after the operation, the clinic called an ambulance and she was taken to Palmore Hospital, where she remained alive for about six hours. At around 7:00 a.m. on August 3, she died.

According to the report of the Forensic Medical Service, the cause of death was a multiple organ failureThe loss of more than 15 to 20 percent of the normal blood volume in the body caused hypovolemic shock.

It was classified as an accidental event in the form of surgical risk secondary to the aforementioned operations.

This is the second fatality so far this year and according to the records of the College of Plastic Surgeons of the State of Chihuahua there are 18 cases of negligence.
