The story of a woman in her 50s who was diagnosed with breast cancer early thanks to her dog in the UK is becoming a hot topic.

According to the British BBC and The Mirror on the 22nd (local time), Tricia Allison (50), who lives in Nottinghamshire, found out that she was suffering from breast cancer due to the behavior of her dog ‘Luna’ in April this year.

Luna suddenly jumped on Tricia’s body and stabbed her in the chest and sniffed her.

Tricia said, “I was lying on the couch and watching TV on the weekend morning, and Luna ran up to me and poked me in the chest and sniffed it.”

Trisha, who felt pain in her chest after 30 to 40 minutes, went to the hospital the next day to find out the exact cause. After a biopsy, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Trisha said, “The MRI scan also confirmed the cancerous mass,” and “it took two weeks for the results to come out, but we were able to detect it early.”

Trisha has since undergone two cancer surgeries at Nottingham City Hospital and is said to be awaiting test results.

Trisha said, “If it wasn’t for Luna, I wouldn’t have discovered breast cancer that day. I think Luna knew I had breast cancer. My little lifesaver.”

Meanwhile, treat Trisha.

One medical staff emphasized, “There are often patients who have been diagnosed with breast cancer by visiting the hospital due to the dog’s abnormal behavior, but this is not a very reliable diagnosis method.”

“The important thing is to get regular checkups,” he said.
