Woman attacked with a knife in Moss – the police are hunting the perpetrator

It was 9.28pm when the police received information about the incident.

– The police received a report from a woman in her early 20s who had been attacked by a man of foreign origin aged 16-25, wearing dark clothes. The man threatened with a knife and is said to have cut the woman’s clothes, writes East Police District i the police log on the police website.

The woman is said to have also been attempted rape, informs police station chief Henning Dalbye in Moss Moss Newspaper. However, this must have been interrupted by the sound of other hikers in the area, and the woman managed to run away. She was driven home by a married couple who were driving past.

– We are particularly interested in getting in touch with them. They probably drove a BMW, says Dalbye.

Throughout Friday, the police will search the area with a dog. People are asked to stay away to avoid damaging tracks. The area is described as a popular hiking area.

People who were in the area between 8.30pm and 9.15pm, and who saw or heard other people or have information about the incident itself, are asked to call the police on 64999130. They also want to get hold of people who were in contact with the woman after the event.
