A 25-year-old woman appeared before Cork District Court facing a series of charges stemming from an alleged assault on two Gardaí. Teegan lonergan, residing at Cork Simon Community, was accused of multiple offenses stemming from an incident on June 10, 2024 at St.Luke’s Cross in Cork.
According to Sergeant liam Walsh, Gardaí observed Lonergan staggering on a footpath that afternoon. Detectives Garda Kevin Motherway and Brian Holland approached Lonergan, who allegedly responded with a barrage of verbal abuse. “Get the f away from me ye cs, ye are bastards, f*** off ye pricks,” she reportedly shouted.
