Conservative Global Initiative:
Written by Rainer Ackermann
The Center for Fundamental Rights (AJK) has set up a right-wing “rapid response force” called “Wokebusters.” It is an international communications warning chain, a political action community that interacts both online and offline.
The director of the government-affiliated research institute, Miklós Szánthó, said at a press conference in Budapest: “We must raise our anti-globalism against the liberal-communist woke movement to an international dimension.” The conservative forces worldwide must organize themselves, and Hungary wants to play a central role in this.
Bible as hate speech?
Not least with reference to the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris, he warned against the attacks of woke “activists” against “God, homeland and family”. The director cited as examples the declaration of Bible teachings as hate speech or the hostility towards Israel that is promoted by the state in Europe. The EU elites and the US Democrats do not want to solve the demographic problem with children, but with uncontrolled immigration. “George Soros’ Open Society Foundations do not want to stop immigration, but rather manage it.” The woke movement believes that the path to peace leads through war.
Hungary has proven its sovereignty as an organizer of conservative forces with the CPAC Hungary, the founding of the EP group “Patriots for Europe” and the Prime Minister’s peace mission, Szánthó said. The “Wokebusters” are also intended to transport the “best practice” from Hungary to the world. He has already announced a “world tour” for the autumn with stops in Argentina, Chile, Spain, Italy, the USA and Israel.
Wax: Orbán can serve as a reference
The international spokesman for the Wokebusters is Gavin Wax, president of the Young Republicans Club in New York. He sees the new initiative as a counterpart to the increasing number of left-wing organizations. “At the Olympic Games we are currently seeing how they are going against traditions and our traditional norms.” Wax said that Viktor Orbán’s efforts could also serve as a reference for Donald Trump.
