Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty unveils a cinematic trailer

KOEI TECMO Europe and Team NINJA have unveiled the first dedicated story trailer, which details the stunning scenes and skirmishes at the heart of their action-packed dark fantasy game, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Team NINJA’s demonic epic will be available on March 3, 2023 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC via Windows and Steam and will be available on day one with Xbox Game Pass on console and PC. In addition, information regarding generals, the new “Meiwu Fort” stage, and the game’s online items have also been released.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is set in the Last Han Dynasty of the Three Kingdoms. Combat and cutscenes were overseen by the game’s cinematic director, Kenji Tanigaki, the famed director of the “Rurouni Kenshin” film series. These powerful action scenes are the focus of the latest KOEI TECMO trailer, which showcases the game’s dramatic storyline. The original story follows an unnamed militia soldier who comes face to face with a conspiracy over an elixir mighty with mysterious powers. Along the way, the soldier not only encounters countless demons and monsters, but also famous warlords and military masters from history, including Liu Bei, Cao Cao, and Sun Jian.

Along with the trailer, KOEI TECMO also announced that those who purchase the physical or digital version of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty before March 16 will receive a special “Baihu Armor”, while those who pre-order the game digitally will receive the early purchase bonus as well as the pre-order bonus: “Zhuque Armor”.
