Ball season started with hundreds of dancers – low temperatures did not dampen the good atmosphere – successful start to the 2023/24 ball season
Vienna (OTS) – At 11:11 a.m. sharp, the Viennese dance masters and dance teachers opened the 2023/24 ball season at Stephanslatz today. With them were hundreds of dance enthusiasts from all over Vienna who, despite the low temperatures, didn’t miss the opportunity to take part in the traditional quadrille and the subsequent Viennese waltz. As every year, numerous passers-by and tourists spontaneously joined the hustle and bustle and then fortified themselves with foam cuts, Swedish bombs, etc. Organizer Karin Lemberger, President of the Association of Vienna Dance Schools, is pleased regarding a successful start to the season: “It’s nice, to see so many enthusiastic dancing couples once more. I’m sure it was the start of a great ball season.”
