Wizards beat Bucks 118-95 and add 5 wins in a row

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Rui Hachimura had 26 points and Kristaps Porzingis 22 for the Washington Wizards, who beat the Milwaukee Bucks 118-95 on Sunday for a season-high five straight wins.

Daniel Gafford had 17 points for the Wizards.

The Bucks played without Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was sidelined with a sore left knee.

Antetokounmpo was averaging 38 points and 14.6 boards in his last six games, including 43 points and 20 rebounds in Friday night’s win over the Minnesota Timberwolves to snap a four-loss streak.

Jrue Holiday also missed action due to a non-COVID illness and Khris Middleton was sidelined for the eighth straight game with a sore right knee.

The Wizards (17-21) also didn’t have a full infield and played without their main offensive player, Bradley Beal, who has a sore left hamstring.
