Witness .. A citizen tells the story of his theft of an elephant statue worshiped by his Indian neighbor for the sake of his friend in Saudi Arabia

Al-Marsad Newspaper: A citizen told the story of the theft of a statue in the form of an elephant that was a deity of an Indian family when he was on a visit to India on a medical trip with his father.

And the citizen said in a circulating video: He used to live next to an Indian family, who worshiped this elephant, and his picture belonged to Abu Rashid (his friend).

He continued that his friend asked him for an elephant like him, so he went to his neighbors’ house to ask them for the elephant, but he found only a child and his sister, pointing out that they did not understand him, so he took the elephant and put it in his bag.

He added that when he arrived in the kingdom, he asked a sheikh about the extent of the sanctity of what he had done, stressing that the sheikh had told him that he had no sin, so that this family might repent.
