The Indonesian national team rose one rank to 133rd in the FIFA rankings with a collection of 1108.73 points.

As reported on the official FIFA website, Thursday (18/7), the Garuda team rose one rank even though they did not play matches included in the FIFA calendar because a number of countries from Europe and America experienced significant changes in their points following the 2024 Euro and 2024 Copa America.

The team coached by Shin Tae-yong will still play matches included in the FIFA calendar in the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers in September.

In the world rankings, there has been a significant shift, although the Argentine national team, which won the 2024 Copa America, remains in first place with a collection of 1901.48 points.

The second position is occupied by the French national team even though they were only able to become semifinalists at the 2024 European Cup. Les Bleus now have a collection of 1854.91 points.

Euro 2024 champions Spain have gained an additional 105.75 points and a significant increase in ranking. La Roja, who were previously ranked eighth, are now ranked third in the world with a collection of 1835.67 points.

In fourth place is the England national team, who are finalists at Euro 2024. The Three Lions have collected 1812.26 points.

Meanwhile, the Brazilian national team, which was only able to advance to the quarter-finals of the 2024 Copa America, dropped to fifth place with 1785.61 points.

The same thing also happened to the Belgian national team, which might not do much at the 2024 European Cup, so it had to drop three places to sixth place with a collection of 1772.44 points.

Venezuela’s national team, which advanced to the quarter-finals of the 2024 Copa America, is the country that has experienced the most significant increase in ranking from previously being ranked 54th to now being ranked 37th. (Ant/Z-1)
