Within 24 hours… 70 “raging” Russian attacks on 5 axes

On Friday, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense announced the latest developments in the battles on several fronts, with the continuation of the Russian offensive actions.

She indicated that the Russian army does not abandon its intentions regarding control of Ukraine, and continues to carry out offensive actions regardless of the heavy losses incurred.

The statement of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense came as follows:

  • The Russian army concentrates its main efforts on the Liman, Bakhmut, Avdeev, Marin and Shakhtar directions.
  • During the past 24 hours, the Russians launched more than 70 attacks on the aforementioned areas.
  • Over the past day, the Russian army launched 5 missile attacks and 18 air strikes, as well as 73 attacks from multiple-use missile systems.
  • The Russian army is trying to break through the defense of our forces in the Kubyansk and Limansk directions.
  • In the direction of Bakhmut, the Russian army does not stop trying to storm the city of Bakhmut.
  • Several Russian attacks were repulsed in the Orehovo, Vasilivka, Bakhmut, Ivanovsky, and Hryhorivka regions.
  • More than 15 towns near the contact line have come under fire from the Russian forces.
  • In the directions of Avdiivk, Marinka and Shakhtark, the Russian army carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the Kamyanka, Avdiivka, Pervomaisky, Nevelsk and Marinka regions.
  • On the specified section of the front over the past day, the Russian army carried out the largest number of attacks in the Marinka region, 12 attacks, all of which were repulsed.

Offensive operations

  • During the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Air Force launched 7 strikes on the areas of concentration of the Russian army.
  • Units of the missile and artillery forces struck 5 control points and 5 concentration areas for Russian army personnel and military equipment, including a fuel and lubricant storage, two radar stations, a combat electronic radio station, and an anti-aircraft missile complex at the firing site.
