A “riot” incident occurred on July 10 in front of the Zhengzhou branch of the People’s Bank of Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, China, where a demonstrator of regarding 3,000 people collided with a group of police and a “man in a white shirt”. did. Why did this “riot” happen? And why did the demonstrators ask Li Keqiang for help?
Deprived of deposits and freedom of action
This demonstration was by the victims (depositors) of the deposit disappearance incident at the village town bank (former farmer credit company) in Henan and Anhui provinces, which has continued since mid-April.
From around April 18, there were a number of cases in which deposits might not be withdrawn from the accounts of multiple village banks in Henan Province.
In addition, a mysterious phenomenon was reported in which the health code app downloaded to the smartphone turned red or yellow when the depositor tried to go to the bank counter. The health code app is obligatory to download in order to prevent the spread of the new corona infection, and the code color is color-coded into red, yellow, and green according to the infection risk, and the PCR test is positive. When a positive person appears in the area of residence, the code will change to red or yellow and movement restrictions will be applied. If it is discovered that the code is red or yellow but has gone out, it cannot be complained even if it is quarantined. However, even though the PCR test is negative and there is no evidence that there are positive people in the area, the code turns red or yellow, or when you step into a specific area of Henan province, the code suddenly turns red or yellow. A strange phenomenon has occurred.
