Gissella Gallardo and her family offered an emotional farewell this Saturday to her father, Jaime, who passed away last Thursday following a tough battle once morest cancer. The influencer’s ex-husband, Mauricio Pinilla, also participated in her funeral.
For days Gissella had been sharing with her followers the worrying state of her father’s health, with heartfelt messages, photos and videos where she expressed all her love for her father.
On the day of his death, he dedicated moving parting words with a photo of Jaime in his last moments of life. For his part, Pinilla also wanted to express his regret for the departure of his ex-father-in-law.
Emotional funeral
This Saturday, Gissella shared images of the burial ceremony in the Parque del Recuerdo de Santiago, following a mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, in Vitacura.
In the images it can be seen that they released a dozen white doves in honor of Jaime, in addition to white balloons that rose into the air. “See you soon, Osito,” she wrote on one of his Instagram stories.
Pinilla also published images with a farewell message to his former father-in-law: “Fly high, beautiful old man! See you soon, you know. Little bear,” he wrote.
