The Argentine Chamber of Deputies today opened the “Change of Roles” academic-legislative training program, organized by the Institute of Strategic Studies and International Relations (IEERI) and the Circle of Legislators of the Argentine Nation (CLNA). belonging to the National Congress.
During the day, the students debated in commissions of the Annex A building of the Congress, in four Commissions established for the debate on digital health. The Commissions were those of Social Action and Public Health; General Legislation; Science, Technology and Productive Innovation; and Constitutional Affairs.
On this occasion, the national universities of Entre Ríos, Tucumán, Comahue, Lanús, Buenos Aires, Morón participated; the private Catholic universities of Córdoba; From Salvador; Metropolitan Education and Work; Inter-American Open and; the regional ones, National of Chile and of the Pacific (Peru).
The “Change of Roles” program is a training activity created by the Institute of Strategic Studies and International Relations (IEERI), the Circle of Legislators of the Argentine Nation (CLNA), the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies of the Nation to share with society and with young people in particular, the experience of the legislative field, education and training, to become protagonists of the new national leadership in the future.
On this occasion, the 8th edition is carried out with students from different universities who take the role of a Legislator. In two days they analyze and discuss projects on the basis of a previously sent draft and a defined theme. Prestigious Argentine universities, both public and private, participate. Legislators in activity and with a mandate fulfilled, Authorities of the Honorable Congress of the Nation, the Circle of Legislators of the Nation and the Institute of Strategic Studies and International Relations (IEERI).
Also Ambassadors and Diplomats of the accredited missions in our country, national and international authorities, representatives of the Chamber of Deputies and Senators of the Argentine Nation and university authorities.
Lastly, on Friday the 30th, the activity will take place at the Chamber of Deputies, where the opening ceremony will take place at 11 am. It will be attended by the IDB Representative in Argentina, Eng. Agustín Aguerre, who together with the Bank have been co-organizers of this edition. Officials from the Development Bank for Latin America (CAF), representatives of the Pan American Health Organization and other international organizations that accompanied the development of the program will also attend.
