The video of people being loaded into such boxes in quarantine camps in China has been widely circulated on social media. China’s move is aimed at controlling corona cases. Such metal boxes are a cramped room. There will also be a toilet inside.
The country is now defending Corona by imposing lockdowns, closing borders and conducting mass inspections. China is concerned about the rising number of corona cases ahead of the upcoming Winter Olympics in Beijing. In this case, strict controls are in place to prevent corona from spreading. According to the Daily Mail, about 20 million people in China are trapped inside their homes, unable to even go out to buy food.
