Al-Ittihad Jeddah achieved a precious victory over Al-Fateh 3-1 in the match that brought them together, this Friday evening, in the Saudi Professional League.
The match between Al Ittihad Jeddah and Al-Fateh was held at the stadium (The Radioactive Jewel) in the sixth round of the Saudi League for the season “2022-2023”.
Egyptian defender Ahmed Hegazy participated with Al-Ittihad in Jeddah and continued on the field until the end of the match, while Tariq Hamed was absent due to the suspension.
The Jeddah Federation entered the match with a lineup consisting of: “Grouhi, Swailem Al-Menhali, Ahmed Hegazy, Omar Hawsawi, Hamdan Al-Shamrani, Awad Al-Nashiri, Bruno Henrique, Abdul Rahman Al-Aboud, Cornado, Romarinho, Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah.”
Romarinho opened the scoring for Ittihad Jeddah in the 32nd minute, then Al-Fateh equalized through Majed Kanbeh in the 61st minute.
Ittihad Jeddah advanced once more in the 69th minute by Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah, then Igor Coronado strengthened the Tigers’ lead with the third goal in the 86th minute.
With this result, Al Ittihad Jeddah temporarily rises to the runners-up in the Saudi League standings with 14 points, while Al-Fateh is in ninth place with 6 points.
