The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) recently announced the holding of the Club World Cup, starting from the 2025 edition, with the participation of 32 teams, including 12 from Europe, without announcing the method of choosing it.
And according to the “Times” newspaper, the last 4 Champions League champions will be chosen before the 2025 Club World Cup, which means that Real Madrid will be the first to participate in the tournament following winning the 2022 European Champions League.
The tournament will be held in the next two editions 2023 and 2024 with the same current system, with the participation of 7 clubs, before switching to the new system in 2025.
It is noteworthy that the next edition of the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia, next December.
