The Honor 70 can also access a ” High resolution which, by using the entire 50 Megapixel sensor, is a real game-changer in terms of quality. Thanks to this mode, the shots are much more precise and the level of detail is quite impressive when zooming in on a photo.
Solo Cut: a new video mode for shooting original videos
The video is not left out on this Honor 70 since it is able to film sequences in 4K at 30 FPS or in 1080p at 60 FPS without any problem. But the real innovation brought by this device is undoubtedly a new video mode: the Solo Cut.
To put it simply, the Solo Cut mode allows, when you shoot a sequence, to select one of the protagonists of the scene in order to create a secondary recording, which you can manage independently of each other. Concretely, this means that if you are filming a concert, you can click on the singer or guitarist to create a new feed that will follow them for the duration of the video.
This video mode offers many possibilities in terms of production and editing, and one can easily imagine budding videographers or vloggers of all kinds to seize it to create dynamic and original video formats.
