Amid a huge presence in the stands, and with sweet melodies that the audience interacted with, the musician Omar Khairat concluded the evening of the 30th edition of the Salah El-Din Citadel of Music and Singing Festival with a large concert held on Wednesday evening, attracting thousands to the famous archaeological site in Cairo.

Musician Omar Khairat concluded the evening of the 30th edition of the Salah El-Din Citadel Festival of Music and Singing with a large concert held on Wednesday evening, attracting thousands to the famous archaeological site in Cairo.
Over the course of regarding an hour and a half, Khairat presented on the piano, accompanied by the Cairo Opera Orchestra, a bouquet of musical compositions that he composed for cinematic and television works, including “The Second Meeting”, “The Scrooge and I”, “Keep Your Mind From Your Mind”, “The Conscience of Abla Hikmat”, and A Matter of Principle,” “Death Execution,” and “Al-Khawaja Abdul Qadir.”
The audience interacted by singing with the music “As What Is Her Love” from the movie “Mafia” and chanted its full words before asking to repeat it once more.
The last performances of the concert were the music for the song “Fiha Haja Helwa” by singer Reham Abdel Hakim from the movie “Assal Aswad”.
The festival, which is organized by the Egyptian Opera House in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, is considered one of the most popular summer festivals by the public due to the diversity of its musical and lyrical content and the low prices of attendance tickets.
The festival program, which was held over two weeks, included 36 concerts by artists from inside and outside Egypt, including the Lebanese Nawal Al Zoghbi, the Syrian Lina Shamamian, the Egyptian Dina Al-Wadidi and the vocalist Yassin Al-Tohamy.
