After the release of a first spring-summer 2023 capsule in January, the collaboration between the French sports brand Salomon and the Danish cycling label Pas Normal Studios is changing gear.
The duo explores the intersection between city and nature. It offers an outdoor kit consisting of two pieces, designed for both sport and everyday life. It includes a pair of Rx Snug sneakers at 120 euros, available in three colors (grey, green and brown) and a Xt 20 backpack at 140 euros in green.
Regarding the pair of Rx Snug winter shoes, it would promise warmth, lightness and comfort, thanks to the choice of protective materials such as ripstop and softshell mesh with woven collar and fleece lining. It is designed with a notched Water Contagrip sole (combination of a resistant rubber and a shape of crampons) which allows grip on wet or smooth surfaces.
It also has an EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) midsole, a softer material than rubber, which ensures the shoe’s suppleness and flexibility. As for the Xt 20 bag, it is made from stretchy and breathable fabrics that can hold up to 20 liters of storage. It is composed of an adjustable harness system, a support belt and several storage spaces, including external lacing for poles or a jacket.
The capsule has been available since March 31, 2023, on the Salomon and Pas Normal Studios e-shop.
