The patient was admitted to the hospital with his entire scalp peeled off (from the eyelids to the nape of the neck), bleeding profusely, and spraying his forehead following his hair was caught in a tea machine.

The patient was quickly resuscitated by the Emergency Department team, applied pressure bandages to stop the bleeding, and the hospital’s Neurosurgery Department doctor was immediately invited for consultation.
After the emergency consultation, the Hospital contacted and consulted with Viet Duc Hospital to coordinate transferring the patient that night.
Doctor Dao Ngoc Viet, Head of the Emergency Department, Tuyen Quang Provincial General Hospital, said: This is probably one of the most extensive and complex cases of scalp peeling ever received by the Emergency Department.
