With co-creation exercises, Dagma will identify a technological tool for the management of underground water resources in Cali

Co-creation exercise with the Dagma team.

After completing two days of co-creation, the Administrative Department of Information and Communication Technologies-Datic, continues to join forces with its similar Environment Management Department-Dagma, in order to achieve the identification of a technological tool that will allow the deployment and groundwater management in Santiago de Cali.

“For us it is very important to provide advice and support to our agencies. This type of activity allows them to gather the necessary requirements for the project they are going to implement. With the exercise of prototypes they will be able to reach the desired result and, in this way, mitigate errors that prevent the proper execution of the project”, argued Teresa Cancelado, director of Datic.

According to the official, in the second phase, to createit is allowed to collaboratively condense group ideas with different tools to move on to phase three, arms. “These insights are valuable because they enable the Datic team to create the final prototype and simulate, in real time, the potential technology tool,” he noted.

For Fabián Chavarriaga, a Dagma official, it is a very important exercise. “One of the main drawbacks when there are technological needs is to define the requirements, have clear ideas and have an articulation with the actors of the problem. Datic, through this activity, allows us to obtain that information and achieve a clear focus”, he assured.

In the same sense, Diego Amezquita, also an official of the district environmental authority, considers that “prototipar it is an innovative activity that highlights capacities and attitudes and highlights shortcomings, to access information and the possibilities of detecting them”.

It should be noted that there are three phases that Dagma will develop with Datic to conclude the co-creation exercise. The first is understandthe second to create and the last one, arms. Here a prototype created with the ideas of all the participants of the Administrative Department of Environmental Management will be delivered, which contributes to the gathering of requirements for that project and thus achieves the desired purpose.
