Giveaways are a standard promotion for increasing X (formerly Twitter) followers and increasing exposure. However, the more applications there are, the more complicated the winning process becomes. Up until now, I had automated this work to some extent by programming it to avoid subjectivity as much as possible, but it still took a certain amount of man-hours. However, with ChatGPT, it only takes a few seconds. The program I created has been discarded, but it can be done with the free version of ChatGPT, so please check it out.
Gift winning process
This is a giveaway project using X (formerly Twitter), but it is defined as the standard “retweet and follow posts.”
- Announce on X (formerly Twitter)
- Check for reposts (retweets) during the application period.
- List applicants when the deadline arrives
- Choose a winner from the list
- Check followers and violations
- DM to the person
Work done by ChatGPT
The more applicants there are, the more difficult it becomes to compile a list and select winners manually, so you can experience the effectiveness of ChatGPT.
- List applicants
- Choose a winner at random
Gift winning process for ChatGPT
Pick up applicants
Extract the X (formerly Twitter) account name with @ in the following sentences.
You can immediately see if someone has reposted (retweeted) a post from the list of reposts. Copy all of the posts (if you have a lot, or when you’ve accumulated a certain amount, copy and save them each time).
The text also includes quotation comments, etc., so cleansing is required. However, if you instruct ChatGPT with a prompt like the one above, it will list the account names.
decide the winner
Randomly select xx names from the following list.
That’s all there is to the winning process. ChatGPT is really good at programmable processing like this. It will be extracted quickly, so all you have to do is check whether this account is following you and whether it is a bot.
The tasks that ChatGPT is good at are increasing rapidly, but it’s really fun to use it starting with what you need.
