With 30 points from Mitchell, Cavs break 3-game losing streak; beat Knicks 95-89

NEW YORK (AP) — Donovan Mitchell scored 30 points and the Cleveland Cavaliers snapped a three-game losing streak with a 95-89 victory over the New York Knicks on Wednesday.

Caris LeVert added 19 points and Eric Mobley added 14 for Cleveland.

Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 24 points, Immanuel Quickley added 18, Donge DiVincenzo added 16 and Mitchell Robinson finished with 16 rebounds.

New York was without RJ Barrett, who is suffering from a sore left knee. Julius Randle’s attack was also missing.

He finished with six points, shooting three of 15 from the field and missing all six of his three-pointers.

The Knicks led 50-49 at halftime, but the Cavs opened the third quarter with a 13-5 run and never relinquished the lead.
