Witchcraft in Congress? Faced with a controversial well-known image, David Racero responded to the Democratic Center

On the night of this October 10, Óscar Villamizar, representative to the Chamber for Santander, denounced witchcraft in the National Capitol, the building of the Congress of the Republic.

In his social networks, the congressman from the Democratic Center shared a video in which some candles, dolls that were apparently frailejones and backpacks are seen in the elliptical room of the building. According to him, these objects were due to an act of witchcraft.

“This is the last straw! With witchcraft they want to approve a project in the Congress of the Republic. How far are they capable of reaching?, representative Óscar Villamizar shared on his Twitter account. The initiative being discussed was the Escazú Agreement.

In another video, which is also circulating on social networks, Óscar Villamizar is seen asking the representative of the Chamber, David Racero, to turn off the candles and pay attention to what was happening.

“President, I want to ask you a favor, what the previous representative just said is not a small call. Upstairs they are doing witchcraft in Congress. You may laugh, but I’ll pass you the images. There are candles, dolls, that are burning on the third floor of the Congress of the Republic. This has never been done before, and if you find it very funny, go up and check it out. But I believe that this is not the venue for that, so President, I ask you for a favor, as an authority, or that you remove the people or that you behave, “he said.

The young activist and human rights defender Juan Felipe Lozano spoke regarding what happened, confirming that the dolls in the elliptical room were frailejones. In fact, he had similarities with the animated character Frailejón Ernesto Pérez, who became popular among Colombians because of his song asking for the care of the moors and water.

“Once once more the CD makes a fool of itself in Congress: they wanted to suspend the discussion on the #EscazuAgreement with the excuse that they were doing “witchcraft” inside Congress. Absurd! No one was doing witchcraft, the only thing people were doing was weaving frailejones,” he posted on Twitter.

Meanwhile, David Racero, trill: “I see there the beloved frailejón Ernesto Pérez. Witchcraft? This is not how a true opposition with height is made ”.

Miguel Polo Polo, representative to the Chamber for the Afro seat, also expressed himself, affirming: “In the debate on the Escazú agreement, members of the gangs performing witchcraft rituals in the middle of Congress. It is a lack of respect! David Racero take action and make this venue respected”.
