Wistron (3231) announced today (25th) that it sold 56,391,000 common shares of Luxshare Precision Industry Co., Ltd. through its mainland subsidiary. The stock transaction was carried out in the form of a block transaction, with a total amount of 1.733 billion yuan and an average price of 30.74 yuan per share. Wistron Heavy News pointed out that the loss of this disposal is about NT$5.5 billion (approximately equal to RMB 1.266 billion / RMB 1266616000).
Wistron announced today that in order to revitalize the group’s assets and reduce interest expenses, the company passed a resolution of the board of directors today to dispose of the common stock of Luxshare Precision Industry Co., Ltd. through Wistron Information Technology (Kunshan), Wistron Information Technology (Zhongshan), Wistron Information Technology (Chengdu) and Wistron Information Technology (Chongqing). The impact on the third quarter of 2023 is a loss of more than NT$425 million (RMB 96.503 million).
It is understood that Wistron Information Technology (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. has traded 13,157,890 shares, with a total transaction amount of RMB 404,342,000. Secondly, Wistron Information Technology (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd. traded 18,796,990 shares, with a total transaction amount of RMB 577,632,000. Third, Wistron (Chengdu) Co., Ltd., with 11,278,200 shares traded, with a total transaction amount of RMB 346,805,000; fourth, Wistron (Chongqing) Co., Ltd., with 13,157,900 shares traded, with a total transaction amount of RMB 404,605,000.
