Al-Hikma deepens Beirut’s wounds and consolidates its lead in Group Two in the quarter-finals of the Lebanese Basketball League.
Al-Hikma continued its strong performances and achieved its tenth victory in a row, its 13th in its stadium and its 23rd in the current season, as it defeated its guest Beirut, the Lebanese champion, with a score of 91-69, in the third round of the second group competitions for the quarter-finals of the Lebanese Basketball Championship.
Al-Hikma raised its score to 48 points at the top of the group, while Beirut suffered its second loss in a row, and with 44 points it ranks second.
Al-Hikma, led by Ali Mezher and Sergio Darwish, succeeded in imposing its rhythm from the start, ending the first quarter with a score of 26-14.
And the owners of the house continued to dominate, ending the first half with a score of 56-34, and the scene did not change in the second half, so that Al-Hikma emerged victorious, by a difference of more than twenty points.
Sergio Darwish scored 31 points with 8 rebounds and 3 assists, the American Caron Roche added 16 points, and his compatriot Cliff 15 points, while Omar Jamal Al-Din scored 18 points for Beirut, Kenny Hayes 16 points, and Ali Haidar 15 points.
