Magnificent season for Gabe Vincent. For his second season in the G-League, the guard started with twenty quality games with the Stockton Kings, a team affiliated with the Sacramento Kings. Fearsome behind the arc, he caught the attention of the Miami Heat who offered him a two-way contract early January, which allowed him to finish the season between NBA (6 games) and Sioux Falls Skyforce (11 games). His impact on his new team was immediate, with Skyforce going 9-2 when he was on the court. His progress is striking compared to last year (8.8 pts, 2.3 rbd and 2.6 ast in 24 games) and he thus won this trophy by beating Paul Watson (Raptors 905) and Mychal Murder (Santa Cruz Warriors).

After spending the Summer League and then training camps with the Philadelphia Sixers, rookie Christ Koumadje finally found himself with the Delaware Blue Coats (affiliated with the Sixers) this season. In the antechamber of the NBA, the native of Chad was ultra dominant. A real counter machine, he ended the season as the best blocker and with the record for blocks in a match (12 blocks in a match where he made a triple-double). A defensive engine for the Blue Coats, he edged out Sir’Dominic Pointer (Canton Charge) and Kenny Wooten (Wechester Knicks) to succeed Chris Boucher as Defender of the Year.
Le Rookie of the Year : Tremont Waters

Signed via a two-way contract by the Boston Celtics following his Draft in 51st position, Tremont Waters did not go into detail in the G-League. Regular, the Maine Red Claws guard was one of the centerpieces of a team that finished third in its conference. Skillful player and good scorer (ten games above 20 pts), he becomes the fourth player in franchise history to be elected rookie of the year following DeShawn Sims, Tim Frazier and Abdel Nader. Third in the MVP vote, he was well ahead of Jarrell Brantley (Salt Lake City Stars) and Devontae Cacok (South Bay Lakers) to win this award.
Le Coach Of the Year : Martin Schiller

For his third season at the helm of the Salt Lake City Stars, the Austrian Martin Schiller impressed. Second-best league record (.714% wins), the team excelled on both ends of the court. The second lowest scoring team and fourth defensive rating, the Stars also have very good shooting percentages and have prevented their opponents from having good ones. Schiller, who has also been an assistant for the German national team since 2015, also helped his team win the Winter Showcase last December and achieve the second-longest winning streak in G-League history (14 consecutive wins). He won this trophy ahead of Chase Buford (Wisconsin Herd) and Nate Reinking (Canton Charge).
L’Executive of the Year : Bart Taylor

New award for Salt Lake City Stars masterminds. Vice president of basketball operations for the Utah Jazz affiliate team, Bart Taylor helped build the team that dominated the league this year. In office for four years, he is behind the arrival of coach Martin Schiller and several impact players such as William Howard and Juwan Morgan (NBA call-up during the season) but also Trevon Bluiett and the two-way contract Jarrel Brantley. For this trophy, he is ahead of two GMs, Daniel Marcus (Memphis Hustle) and Dave Dean (Wisconsin Herd).
