Concretely, she said, there are approximately 50,000 to 60,000 young people who integrate Moroccan industrial ecosystems each year and who contribute directly and effectively to the creation of value and constitute one of the main levers of competitiveness of the national industry.
Ms. Tricha also indicated that the industrial sector takes the lion’s share of the OFPPT’s training system, with a very broad spectrum covering around ten sectors, including specific sectors (leather, textile , agro-food, etc.) and new sectors such as the automobile, aeronautics and shipbuilding industries.
This reality reflects in particular the “perpetual evolution” of the OFPPT and its adaptation to the changing needs of industry, said Ms. Tricha, adding that this has made it possible to provide the national economy with more than 150,000 educational places. which cover a wide range of professions, with 180 training courses in 70 degree courses of 2 years of training and 114 qualifying courses.
This event brings together the ministries, the institutions concerned, the professional federations and the private operators, and will serve as a platform for discussion on the strategic development issues of the sector and the priorities of the new industrial strategy.
The National Day of Industry, the next editions of which will be broken down into regions in order to highlight local industrial potential and deal with specific associated issues, will be included in the global calendar of economic events, as an appointment for annual reference of Industry in Morocco.
