Microsoft is working on Windows 12, the operating system which will succeed Windows 11, but probably not in 2024.
It seems that the rumors regarding a Windows 12 release for 2024 were incorrect.
Because Microsoft plans to release a major Windows 11 24H2 update for next September.
However, the successor to Windows 11 would be well on track, whether it bears the name Windows 12 or another, its code name being Hudson Valley.
A name change in the build previews of the Canary channel – from 26047 to 27547 – gives some hope for the start of the first Windows 12 tests.
This new OS will emphasize AI – Artificial Intelligence – and there is no doubt that the new boss of Windows Mikhail Parakhin will put his hand in it.
