Windows 11 will natively support computers with RGB, allowing users to configure the lighting of accessories that have this feature. In this way, it will no longer be necessary to install any application to control the colors of your peripheral, RAM memory, water cooler or video card, for example. The information was noticed by the website TheVerge, which reports on the publication of the user “Albacore” on Twitter with the revelation regarding the first works of Microsoft to bring a new experience with lighting on PCs with Windows 11.
Windows 11 Will Soon Control Your PC’s RGB Lighting
User “thebookisclosed” (nickname “Albacore”) posted screenshots showing images of a feature that is present in build 25295 of Windows 11. In the images you can see brightness control options, lighting effects, pulsar speed, changes of colors, among other adjustments. There’s even a function that lets you make RGB devices the same accent color as Windows.
New settings for device lighting make an appearance in build 25295. Is this the beginning of the end for low quality RGB gamer gear apps? ???? The spec for this is from 2018 and references to the feature have been around for years. Not cancelled following all ???? pic.twitter.com/bMtxCH8REo

With the RGB controls implemented by Microsoft in Windows 11, we would no longer need to install applications from Logitech, Razer, Corsair, among other companies, just to be able to configure the lights the way we want.
Release and availability
As Microsoft has not yet officially announced support for controlling RGB settings on Windows 11 computers, there is no way to have an estimate of when we will see the general public release of this new feature. However, it is speculated that the novelty will appear in a major update of the operating system in 2023.
