A Microsoft is trying to make system recovery better to use in cases of need. To this end, the company will ensure that the Windows utilize o Update so that the feature can be implemented more quickly. Available on Canary Channel a few months ago, the functionality should be ready for all users soon.
In general, the new feature will appear as a system option, developed to give the user the possibility of reinstalling the software with Windows Update. In case you didn’t know, this is already possible in the version Insider Preview Build 25905 in an option that appears with the name “Fix problems using Windows Update”.
Microsoft first implemented this feature in the build in July, mentioning system fixes through Update. In practice, this process makes it possible to completely restore Windows without ending up replacing the files, applications and settings originally made by the user on their system.
In fact, the description emphasizes that the functionality causes the computer system to be reinstalled without removing the aforementioned items. This more generalized form suggests that the functionality may also be present in other versions of the Software, whether prior or subsequent to Windows 11.
In any case, there is still no firm date for this feature to actually be implemented in Microsoft’s operating system. For now, there is speculation that she will be present in the next update, which will bring the Windows 11 Moment 5 and should be released to the public in February next year, as it has been in the Canary build since July.
